sometimes the trama of childbirth and nasty viruses can bring on ME or Fibro... this is what ive been told many times, but have no real proof if its true, this site is totally amazing and im sure that people here will be able to help you more, but getting on to your doctor about this and getting him to reffer you to diffrnt specialists will hopefully get to the root problem, my friend was reffered to rumatolgy (sorry about incorrect spelling lol) and had a MIR scan to reveal she had fibro..xx

I really do belive that we know in our selfs when something just aint right, and there is nothing so baffling as having so much pain and not knowing were the hec its stemming from, for the first time today i met a doctor who seemed so negative towards the possibility of having Fibro. he had a very closed of attitude, so this just makes me feel that its about time i found another doctor or surgery who will take me more seriously, my friend who also suffers, was told that shes being over dramatic.. i was so annoyed when she told me this, its us who feel the pain, so doctors should do ALL they can to get to the root cause, so instead of being so unsupportive and negative, they should have more faith in the paitent and truly belive them when they are in agony, i could of sceamed when the doctor once again said more bloods...

I sometimes feel like im on a constant period, and if my shoulder dosnt hurt lol my hand does, if my hand dosnt hurt, my finger hurts, i feel uneasy on my legs to, sometimes they just feel like jelly, most of my life i have felt unwell... like i have a horrible head cold... ive been diagnosed with Asma, but i feel there is more to it, as all my chest area hurts sometimes and i just dont think its ALLasma related.. we all know our own bodies, and we know when something aint quite right, in which case, doctors should understand this, they are there to make us better and to send us on to certain specialists for further investigations, it maddens me so much that they can dilly dally over silly blood tests which only come back normal all the time, i recon they shpuld change there rountine and just get to the nitty gritty and do something to quickly help people, ive heard that it can take years before a doctor can reffer people to specialists, dosnt it not cost the government more money though for all these unessesary blood tests, which keep on coming back normal..for years ive had loads of blood tests, and in my opinion lol its just a waste of money, im now at my end of tether lol, and im despretly wanting things done now xxx this site is amazing by the way, so much information xxx thank you x

For the past couple of years I have been experiencing monthly (just before and during my period) feelings of tingling/prickling, weakness (feels weak, but not actually weak), and numbness in my right arm and left leg (occasionally the other arm and leg, but not usually). In addition, I feel extremely fatigued when this is going on. On occasion I also feel a sensation of swelling in my shoulders and/or elbows, but there is no actual swelling that I can see. My doctor has sent me for blood tests to check my thyroid, blood sugar and iron levels; all are good. I also had a CT scan which was normal. I get migraines monthly too (with my period) and occasional abdominal bloating. Caffeine also seems to bring on the issues in my extremities. Any ideas about what might be going on? I am so worried! I have two small children and these issues started about six months after I had my first.

I appreciate your time! Thanks!
