New to Forum

Hi, my name is Evelyne, I am new to forums all together and this one, hope I get the hang of this quickly lol. I am 29, live in MI with my husband and 3 children. I was diagnosed with RA and FM shortly after having a tumor removed from the back of my neck in 2008. I finally have a great pcp that takes the time to sit and talk with me and asks questions and tries to research the right thing to do, but she isnt a specialist. The one I have seen only kept giving me refills for vicodin, which I cannot stand, the only thing it seems to do is make me sick to my stomach. There are a lot of medicines I cannot take because I am on Topamax . A lot of the medications side effects are increase chance of seizure, so I am unable to take them. Has anyone else had this problem? If theres nothing to take for this, what all can I do? Well I dont know what all to say, just wanted to say hi and sorta start getting the hang of this thing lol. have a great day.
