Re: Could i have FM
I also get a lot of sharp shooting pains. Up the back of my head into my ears, down my leg into my ankle, up into my chest. They are very quick but hurt real bad. My fingers/hands feel like they are tingling/burning when i peel potatoes or do something like sewing or using scissors.

Could i have FM
Hi everyone
I have sjogren's syndrome (diagnosed last year but have had it since 2004) and i have been having a lot of symptoms of FM. I get a lot of muscle pain, feel like i have run a marathon and have pulled all the muscle in my body. Pain is in my arms, back, chest, thighs, hips, calfs, soles of my feet, fingers & hands. I have some muscle weakness especially in my arms where sometimes i pick something up and my arms gives way and i drop whatever it is i picked up. Some days i feel like my I'm shaking/trembling inside and i can't seem to stop it or control it but its a really strange feeling and makes me feel really weak like my legs are about to fall out from under me. I dont sleep very well, always wake up a few times a night and takes ages to get back to sleep and it hurts to even turn over in bed. The fatigue is really bad, some days i just can't do anything as i feel exhausted and just dont have the energy to move… really hard with 4 young kids. I suffer from nausea almost everyday mainly in the late afternoon - night and i have bloating and reflux which seems to last all day. I have a lot of headaches and I can't stand the cold weather and i seem to feel worse when it is cold or it has been warm and then we have a cold day, i always feel cold and really dont cope well with it even with cold drinks and ice cream etc. My lymph glands in my neck and behind my ears have been tender and a little enlarged for months now and dr's always say i am probably just coming down with something but nothing ever happens. I do get a sore throat every now and then but it goes away and never develops into anything. I have been having issues with my kidneys too recently and am waiting to see a renal specialist. I have found for the past 6 mths i have felt really down/depressed and i just can't cope with a lot as well as i used to. Its becoming overwhelming and i dont want it to be. I hate being in pain all the time. I see my rheumatologist tomorrow so hoping i can get some answers but dont want to go there and seem like i am over reacting but i am always in pain and want some answers.
Thanks for listening
