Just kidding.

Anyhow, here I am (thanks for the invite). I have not been diagnosed with FM as of yet, but the more symptoms I read the more it makes sense that I feel the way I do. I know I'm not a hypochondriac but in the last 6 months I've been changing, health wise.

I went from cooking at full pace 12-16 hours a day 6 days a week to feeling like cr@p every time I open my eyes.

I dunno, I guess I'm just more curious about FM than anything.

Well the bio:

Jewelry making and my grandchildren help me set some of the pain aside. I'm making fibromyalgia awareness jewelry on my web site to raise funds for research. My pain runs at 7-9 everywhere but my head; and I get migraines. I have most of the other illnesses associated with fibromyalgia. I try to encourage people who come to me recently ...

Looking back on the symptoms I realize I probably began around age 16 with fibro. I am now pushing 50. My name is Gailyn Trembley and I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in December 2007. I have filed for SSDI and was turned down the first time. I am now at the appeal stage and have not heard anything yet. The doctors (regular physician, neurologist, and pain management) have me on 5 different medications now but they can't figure out why my legs are so weak. They just keep getting weaker every day . They did an MRI on my lower back and said that all there was now was some arthritis. ...

hi all

I have had fibro for a few years still dont know much about it.

I get the stiff rigamortis walk and fog brain plus lots of other natsties. but try to ignore them and get on in life

I have diabetis and had a heart attack, just a walking disaster really.

The way I deal with this is to laugh at my clumsiness. humour is the best medicine. though I do have to take lots of other pills.thats enough about me. please get in touch.

Hi,

I am new to this forum via information my Dad sent me. I have had Fibromyalgia for almost 20 years. Found out what it was when researching a deferment form at the company I worked for. Found a wonderful doctor through a friend who helped me to combact this thing along with several underlying issues and have felt pretty darn good most of the time. I have gone back to work two days a week and have the support of a great husband.

I don't have the horrid fatigue unless I over do it. ...

Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I've been on many FM/CFS/Chronic pain groups off and on on the internet for many years, and I've just joined this one. I've had chronic pain for about 20 years and was first officially diagnosed with FM/CFS and chronic myofascial pain about 12 years ago. I also have really bad structural deterioration in both feet and ankles and have degenerative disc disease also. I have had a double spinal fusion, a breast reduction surgery, and a foot reconstruction in the ...

I have been going to doctor's for years and getting all different diagnosis. Finally 10 months ago this doctor told me this is what I have. In the beginning I would have days when I wasn't feeling well but could still function. Now it's like every day I can't do half the things I use to do. We adopted 3 retired greyhound through the years. They are wonderful and ...

Hello to all, and hope to find the support that I find sorely lacking in most aspects of my disease. I am 46 and have suffered from fibromyalgia since my early twenties. Of course there wasn`t a name, per se, at the time for what I was going through, and after spending thousands of dollars on doctors I was finally diagnosed at the age of 38 from a chiroprator. I cannot begin to tell the absolute relief that there was a name to this insidious illness, and that I wasn`t going crazy. I wept with ...

Hi all

I'm Sandra. I've had chronic pain since the tender age of 1 - I am now 46. I've yet to be diagnosed by a rheumatologist (on waiting list) but strongly believe that FM is the condition I've been living with. I am relieved to have finally put a name on my condition. No more being told that it's all in my head, or that I'm lazy, even though I worked 70 hour weeks, or the best one yet, if it's not on the x-ray or in the blood tests you are fine.

Bitterness be-gone!

I am looking forward ...

I have had it for years(due to a car accident in 1993 or 1994) but was diagnosed with it the beginning of 2009. For years I was told that they didn't know what was wrong with me(it was all in my head). Depression was the first thing they said. I told everyone it is not depression. I hurt. They asked me,"Where do you hurt?" I tell them everywhere. They took it as I didn't know where I hurt. I know where I hurt ...

I am being treated for fibromyalgia with mainstream meds and vitamins/supplements. As information, I was put on Ultram (non-narcotic) for pain and at first, it didn't help at all. Then, the doctor increased the dose to 2 tablets 3 times a day and it actually helped! I am sharing this in the hope someone else may have similar ...

I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I am what many call the one in a million. I'm 24 years old and I am a male. I am currently an active duty 2nd class Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard stationed in St. Petersburg Florida. I have only been on ships my entire career. I am now stationed on land at the base due to not being fit for deployment and sea duty. My wife doesn't mind me not deploying for months on end which I don't either, I just don't like the fact ...
