Living with Fibromyalgia isn't like living a normal life, although everyone expects you to because noone believes or comprehends just how sick you are. For example: if I were having a normal conversation with someone I had only just met and mentioned that I had Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer or HIV or Lupus, the individual would immediately recognize and empathize with the illness. They would have a general understanding that having one of those diseases, my pain and suffering were great. When ...

I have finally got rid of my dreadful pain. I did it by doing a treatment protocol which I found at www.cpnhelp.org. If you don't know about that website you definitely need to take a look at it. It's truly amazing. It has got comprehensive information on Chlamydia Pneumoniae, the infectious bacteria which is the root cause of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis and many other chronic diseases. I've been doing one of their treatments for several months and I'm nearly ...

I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I am what many call the one in a million. I'm 24 years old and I am a male. I am currently an active duty 2nd class Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard stationed in St. Petersburg Florida. I have only been on ships my entire career. I am now stationed on land at the base due to not being fit for deployment and sea duty. My wife doesn't mind me not deploying for months on end which I don't either, I just don't like the fact ...

I am a wife and mother of three. I've had "flare ups" for 30 years but have been misdiagnosed with everything imaginable. Finally, I think the docs got it right. I am being treated for fibromyalgia with mainstream meds and vitamins/supplements. As information, I was put on Ultram (non-narcotic) for pain and at first, it didn't help at all. Then, the doctor increased the dose to 2 tablets 3 times a day and it actually helped! I am sharing this in the hope someone else may have similar ...

Hi, everyone. Ya'll please keep me and my son in your prayers. The other day my son couldn't get a response to repeated calls to his father, went to check on him and found him dead.

They are in Texas, I am in NC and because we were together 23 years, remained good friends after our divorce. He had asked me to ensure that his final affairs be handled the way he wanted. Because, (as most kids do), our son resents me for the divorce, he refused to honor the promise I made to his father ...

Hi all

I'm Sandra. I've had chronic pain since the tender age of 1 - I am now 46. I've yet to be diagnosed by a rheumatologist (on waiting list) but strongly believe that FM is the condition I've been living with. I am relieved to have finally put a name on my condition. No more being told that it's all in my head, or that I'm lazy, even though I worked 70 hour weeks, or the best one yet, if it's not on the x-ray or in the blood tests you are fine.

Bitterness be-gone!

I am new to this forum via information my Dad sent me. I have had Fibromyalgia for almost 20 years. Found out what it was when researching a deferment form at the company I worked for. Found a wonderful doctor through a friend who helped me to combact this thing along with several underlying issues and have felt pretty darn good most of the time. I have gone back to work two days a week and have the support of a great husband.

I don't have the horrid fatigue unless I over do it. ...

I have had fibro for a few years still dont know much about it.

I get the stiff rigamortis walk and fog brain plus lots of other natsties. but try to ignore them and get on in life

I have diabetis and had a heart attack, just a walking disaster really.

The way I deal with this is to laugh at my clumsiness. humour is the best medicine. though I do have to take lots of other pills.thats enough about me. please get in touch.
